The world is moving faster than ever. People are connected constantly — but rarely together.
We consume culture endlessly — but experience it less. We have access to everything — except a sense of belonging.
Carmen was created in response to this moment.
Carmen is a cultural members' club rooted between Rome and New York, dedicated to curating meaningful encounters through hospitality, art, and cultural intelligence. It is named after, and inspired by, Carmen Bucher Wirth — Rome's pioneering woman hotelier who transformed the Hotel Hassler into a global destination through relationship, generosity, and taste.
Founded by Sabrina Wirth — cultural strategist, art curator, and direct descendant of the Wirth/Bucher hospitality legacy — Carmen is conceived as a contemporary revival of the Roman salon: intimate, narrative-driven, and built on the belief that the most meaningful luxury today is human connection.
